Kairos Terms of Use
Kairos Terms of Use

Terms for using Kairos.

Terms for your account, learning content and use of the Kairos service.

Updated 16 October 2026.

Apple’s standard Terms of Use (EULA)

1. The Kairos service

Kairos is provided by Gareon Systems Limited to help you capture vocabulary, learn it in context and practice recall. Features can vary by platform, app version and service availability. These terms describe the conditions for using the Kairos service. The iOS app is licensed under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), linked above.

2. Your account

Provide accurate account details and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for the activity you authorize through your account. Contact support if you believe someone else has accessed it. Do not share passwords or sign-in codes in support messages.

3. Content you submit

You retain the rights you have in the words, notes and source material you submit. Submit only content you are entitled to use and provide for processing. Kairos needs to store and process that content to provide the learning, synchronization and support features you request.

Gareon and its licensors retain their rights in the Kairos software, branding and service. Third-party dictionary material remains subject to its applicable source and license terms, with attribution available in the app where provided.

4. Learning and generated material

AI-generated definitions, examples and feedback can contain errors. Check meanings that matter against a reliable source. Practice history and review schedules support learning; they do not guarantee that a word has been mastered or that a particular learning outcome will be achieved.

Do not use Kairos to submit unlawful material, violate another person’s rights, interfere with the service, access accounts without permission or bypass usage limits.

5. Connectivity and availability

Cloud synchronization, AI analysis and some dictionary features need a working connection and available service providers. Reminders depend on your platform, permissions and settings. Local work may need to synchronize when you reconnect.

The service may be updated or interrupted for maintenance, reliability or security. Contact support if a failure affects your saved learning data.

6. Purchases, if offered

If subscriptions or in-app purchases are offered, their actual price, trial eligibility, billing period and renewal terms are shown by the app store before you confirm a purchase. Manage or cancel a store subscription through the store account used to purchase it. Deleting your Kairos account does not itself cancel a store subscription.

These terms do not add a price, refund rule or subscription entitlement that is not presented by the app and the applicable store.

7. Privacy and closing your account

The Kairos privacy policy explains the handling of account data, learning inputs, permissions, analytics and support messages. You can request account deletion from Profile → Account & data → Delete account, or through the web deletion-request form.

Deletion of your account and its associated learning records is permanent. Account ownership must be verified before a web request is processed. The privacy policy and deletion page explain data that may be retained or handled separately.

8. Changes and support

Updated terms will be published at this URL. For questions about these terms or the service, contact Gareon through the Kairos support form.
